...during which time I have set myself up on Facebook (again!), LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram, designed a company logo and several pieces of promotional material, and started building a website...oh, and written my first blog! As I have said on more than one occasion, it has felt like clinging onto a runaway train by my fingernails - learning curve doesn't even begin to cover it.
It is so exciting to have learnt as much as I have in such a short space of time. Equally exciting is the prospect of emerging from this strange Covid cocoon with a new set of skills, the satisfaction of having met a challenge head-on and stared it down and - above all else - a renewed sense of what I want to do: be a freelance charity fundraiser.
Silver linings indeed.
